Connective Tissue and Deep Tissue Massage

Cranio-Sacral Therapy

Cranio-sacral therapy* manually applies a subtle movement of the spinal and cranial bones in an attempt to bring the central nervous system into harmony. This therapy* involves assessing and addressing the movement of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which can be restricted by trauma to the body, such as through falls, accidents, and general nervous tension. By gently working with the spine, the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, and fascia, the restrictions of nerve passages are said to be eased, the movement of CSF through the spinal cord can be optimized, and misaligned bones are said to be restored to their proper position. This therapy* is said to be particularly useful for mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ Syndrome, and for chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.

Total Body Realignment Therapy (TBRT)

Total Body Re-alignment Therapy* is a unique treatment integrating soft tissue alignment, chiropractic alignment and deep tissue laser therapy* (class IV laser). If you are suffering from chronic pain, stiffness, decreased mobility, arthritis, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip pain, foot or ankle pain, hand pain, chronic neck or low back pain, this treatment is appropriate for you. Most of the people who have sought my care have given up hope of getting better and can’t believe the results they get. Total Body Re-alignment Therapy* is based on the principle of releasing restrictions in the body on a global basis. For example, if you have arm pain, it is seldom just the arm that is the cause of the problem. I will examine all the structures involved with the movement of the arm and find the source of your pain. I will release the muscle fixations, the joint fixation and stimulate healing with a deep tissue laser. Deep tissue laser therapy* is a a gentle therapy* that uses light to reduce pain and inflammation and promote the body’s natural healing process. During laser therapy* the patient experiences a gentle warming sensation and often an immediate reduction in pain.
